Edgeriders...

I hopped down to the NSW North Coast this weekend to escape the rat-race on the Gold Coast.  With a car load of boards and my buddies Chris Schulstad and Mihaka Gray we set out in search of good waves, fun times and little crowds.  We executed these sometimes elusive objectives to success beyond our imaginations....Smiles, sunburn and memory loss.

Newrybar Brat Pack...

This is a collection of shots I took on a recent catalogue trip to the hills of Byron Bay on the North Coast of NSW.  It is probably one of the most beautiful places I have ever spent time at and is one of the few places I could see myself living in....Random capturing's of a brat pack....

  

Cupping Chalmers...

My buddy and work colleague Nick Chalmers has had some difficulties with his neck and back after a recent surfing accident.  Being the new age hippie that he is he wanted the most natural and organic treatment to cure his pain...the method he chose was called 'cupping' - it sounded nice enough until he showed me the after effects.

Nothing....

Whilst on a recent shoot of some buddies slaying, I was holed up in a creepy spot buried in the Pandanus palms of Burleigh Heads.  Whilst on a break from the action I managed to capture some of the other randomness that can creep into the path of the lens.....

LOWEN88....

So I've been contracted by my board shaper Wayne Lowen of LOWEN88 Surfboards to shoot and video his crafts under the feet of some of his more talented surfers.  Here's some of the results of James & Jack Lewis during a recent skeg out at Burleigh Heads.....If you want to know more about LOWEN88 sleds head over to his website::

Logger Rhythm....

I will be displaying my images publicly for the first time in my life....although I think I have cheated because it will be displayed as part of an event I have put together called LOGGER RHYTHM:: an Art/Surf/Music/Fun festival as part of the Noosa Festival of Surfing.  Logger Rhythm will be happening this Friday night at Noosa Woods, Hastings St.

Transworld Snow Cover Shoot...

This is one of the coolest action sports shoots I've seen in ages.  Snowboarding to me is one of the best sports in the world for photography with endless opportunities for new angles, foregrounds and backgrounds.  This is incredible.

WQS warriors Dane Anderson and Jonny Craft have been crashing at my place for the Australian leg of the qualifying series.
Whilst the boys didn't nail any good results they are total legends and we've had a blast chasing little swells in and around the Gold Coast....
