Finless Dorks....
Yet another weekend of being immobilised and unable to surf has me shooting my buddies again. Unfortunately the swell for this weekend has dropped significantly but allowed the boys to test out their new finless crafts.

Silver Lining.....
I'm in the WARS.....! Plain and simple. Speared my front tooth out with the nose of my board, broke my fifth bone in my right foot plus I've got a doozy of a Flu going on. This has rendered me unable to surf and as luck would have it, this weekend has been pumping. The silver lining of this dark cloud is that I have been able to shoot all my buddies having a blast and regulating amongst the peanut gallery!

Freaky Deaky Sunday...
It's so crazy that on any given day you can head to the beach and see something out of the ordinary. I was super tired and surfed out today so I just chilled on the point at Burleigh in shade and decided to shoot some of my buddies surfing the rocky. It just so happened that a pack of super groms were out there getting all technical followed by a fly over by 3 black-hawk helicopters...pretty rad!

It's A Burleigh Summer
It's A Burleigh Summer from Marc Llewellyn on Vimeo.
This is my first test shoot using the video function on my Canon EOS 7D. I've still got a way to go to keep the image sharp but so far I'm pretty impressed with it.
